Accourding to a report the Global Knowledge Process Outsourcing industry (KPO) is expected to grow 46 percent to $17bn by 2010, of which USD 12 billion would be outsourced to India.
Indian KPO industry is expected to employ more than 250,000 KPO professionals by 2010. India's intellectual potential is the key factor for India being the favored destination for KPO industry. The current education system and the youth power has created a bulk of interest for investers.
As per some reports 70 percent of KPO sector is captured by India by 2010. Countries like China, Russia, Ireland, Israel are also expected to join KPO industry.
